During a time when people are attacking military members and their families, it’s also important to realize the enormous sacrifice they have taken striving for peace around the world.

It was a delight to have a Leader in Veterans Affairs for the State of Connecticut on our show, Paul Spedaliere to share some of his first-hand experiences helping the #Veterans navigate a sometimes convoluted system to ensure they can become and continue to be contributing members of society — providing value and utilizing their unique experiences to help others.

Here is the interview:

I hope you enjoy, share, comment, and always provide feedback to help us improve. I know — military and war in this current climate can be very divisive — but it’s important to do our best to people and their families after they have served abroad and return to their own country — sometimes “lost” or overcoming specific issues like #PTSD. It isn’t the easiest, but people serving the state and country like Paul and his team are trying to make it a little easier for people to find a path in the world and society.

Let us also be reminded that cemeteries for Veterans in Connecticut are quickly filling to capacity — and beyond. Showing — more than ever before — the immense need for peaceful negotiations around the world and a calming down of the violence. We have so much more in common than against us — let us unite for a better, brighter future.
